Just when you think you've heard it all, you find out IKEA is hosting free bingo events. Yes, bingo is branching out to atypical locations across the country, and this change isn't limited to the US or to department stores. Check out some of the new ways and places people are discovering to play bingo.
[00:00:08] Hello, and welcome to The Broke Bingo Addict.
[00:00:12] This is a podcast that ventures through the wild and crazy world of bingo.
[00:00:16] This is much more than your grandmother's bingo.
[00:00:20] My name's Shari, and welcome to this week's episode, which as always is for entertainment purposes only.
[00:00:27] Hello, and welcome to this week's episode of The Broke Bingo Addict.
[00:00:32] This is actually the last episode of Season 4, which is just, it's so hard to believe even.
[00:00:39] The last episode of Season 4. I can't believe we've made it this far.
[00:00:44] But anyway, in this episode, I want to talk about something a little different than what I usually talk about.
[00:00:49] Usually, we're going over things that are happening either about events that are going on related to TikTok influencers or whatnot,
[00:00:57] or we're talking about basic bingo halls in different parts of the country that are having certain events or just interesting things happening.
[00:01:04] But for this particular episode, what I want to talk about are some bingo that is out of the norm, okay?
[00:01:11] Kind of unusual bingo that happens across the country.
[00:01:14] Now, the first one I want to talk about is if you haven't heard, IKEA.
[00:01:18] Yes, IKEA.
[00:01:20] I-K-E-A has bingo at some of their locations.
[00:01:24] Now, I had heard about this a while ago.
[00:01:26] I mean, you're talking like two years ago or something.
[00:01:29] I'd actually heard about it.
[00:01:30] But I forgot about it until a friend of mine, my friend Bridget, just sent me some information about it.
[00:01:35] And I was like, oh, my God.
[00:01:37] I can't believe this is actually still happening.
[00:01:40] So much so that I thought maybe she'd seen something someplace else, some weird little article or something.
[00:01:45] And it was something that was being regurgitated about stuff that happened in the past.
[00:01:48] But I actually went to IKEA's website.
[00:01:51] You can go there.
[00:01:51] You can type in events or whatever, and it'll come up.
[00:01:55] Now, I can't say it's happening everywhere.
[00:01:57] And I wasn't going to check everywhere, okay?
[00:01:59] I wasn't going to do that.
[00:02:00] But I did want to check some places.
[00:02:01] And the first place that popped up was Schomburg, Illinois.
[00:02:06] Okay?
[00:02:06] I don't know if anybody knows where that is.
[00:02:08] I haven't been there.
[00:02:09] But they actually do have those events going on.
[00:02:13] And it's totally free.
[00:02:14] The next one is actually happening on December 5th.
[00:02:18] That's a Thursday.
[00:02:19] It's going to start at 6 p.m.
[00:02:20] And it's going to go to 7.30.
[00:02:22] So it's not lasting like hours and hours like some of the ones out here.
[00:02:25] But it seems to be a nice little event.
[00:02:28] Now, what the instructions say are,
[00:02:29] join us for Thursday night bingo at IKEA in Schomburg with a holiday twist.
[00:02:35] Wear your holiday best ugly sweater, pajamas,
[00:02:38] and other seasonal favorites to get some IKEA swag.
[00:02:44] You'll also have a mix of holiday-themed prizes.
[00:02:47] So what they have to do is they have to meet them in the Swedish Food Festival.
[00:02:51] I guess it's on the third floor for a chance to win, okay?
[00:02:54] It's one entry per IKEA family member, spaces limited, RSVP today.
[00:03:01] Participants must be 21 years old or older
[00:03:03] and register individually with their IKEA family account to enter the sweepstakes.
[00:03:08] No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
[00:03:11] But from what I understand, these events fill up really, really quickly.
[00:03:15] So if you're interested, like I said, go check it out.
[00:03:18] If you go to IKEA's websites, you can go there,
[00:03:20] you can click on different locations,
[00:03:22] and it will tell you under their event section
[00:03:23] whether or not they have these events coming up.
[00:03:25] I think there was another thing that I saw that said,
[00:03:28] other than this particular event, that's a holiday event,
[00:03:30] that they actually have this twice a month.
[00:03:33] So that's not too bad.
[00:03:34] It's free.
[00:03:35] You get some free swag.
[00:03:36] You have a good time.
[00:03:37] And if for no other reason than to just get out of the house
[00:03:39] and do something different,
[00:03:41] I think this would be a really fun thing to do with your friends.
[00:03:44] So that's the first one I want to talk about.
[00:03:46] Now, this next one is the one that really had me go back
[00:03:49] to thinking about all these unusual places to play bingo
[00:03:53] or just the fact that, you know,
[00:03:55] you don't have to go to a bingo hall all the time.
[00:03:56] You don't have to be serious.
[00:03:57] You can just do some stuff that's just for fun
[00:04:00] and to have a good time out
[00:04:01] and enjoy yourself among other people.
[00:04:03] So this one was bingo at Chick-fil-A.
[00:04:09] I mean, seriously, who would have thunk it?
[00:04:12] Bingo at Chick-fil-A.
[00:04:14] But this is actually a real thing.
[00:04:16] Chick-fil-A has bingo.
[00:04:17] And again, it's free.
[00:04:19] So I like that.
[00:04:20] That's the cool common denominator
[00:04:22] with all these places so far is that they are free.
[00:04:25] So it's like you absolutely have nothing to lose.
[00:04:28] You can go out, you can have a little fun
[00:04:29] and you have something to gain.
[00:04:31] So here's some of the info on bingo at Chick-fil-A.
[00:04:34] From what I can tell,
[00:04:35] it's available at a variety of locations.
[00:04:38] And if you go to their website
[00:04:39] or if you subscribe to their email,
[00:04:41] you can get some information about, you know,
[00:04:43] when and where you can go play it.
[00:04:45] I have a friend, the one who, you know,
[00:04:46] brought this to my attention.
[00:04:47] She was actually playing out in Pasadena.
[00:04:50] So we know that that's a place where you can go for sure.
[00:04:53] I saw another notice where it was talking about Downey
[00:04:55] and it looked like Downey was doing it
[00:04:57] every Saturday morning.
[00:04:59] But you definitely want to call
[00:05:01] and check the location that's nearest to you
[00:05:03] because it looks like there's a variety of times
[00:05:04] and dates.
[00:05:05] I saw some that said Tuesday,
[00:05:07] you know, some that said, you know,
[00:05:08] other nights of the weeks or other times.
[00:05:10] So please go check it out.
[00:05:12] Like I said, it's free.
[00:05:13] You get, looks like gift certificates for food
[00:05:16] or, you know, a free sandwich, a free drink, whatever.
[00:05:19] It's free.
[00:05:20] It's fun.
[00:05:21] Go check that one out too.
[00:05:23] Another thing that I saw pop up
[00:05:24] was something called Singo Bingo.
[00:05:28] Okay, that's S-I-N-G-O Bingo.
[00:05:31] Not like single as in one person playing alone.
[00:05:36] So the description for this is
[00:05:37] everybody loves singing along with their favorite song
[00:05:41] and who doesn't love a competitive game of bingo?
[00:05:44] Singo Music Bingo brings together
[00:05:46] the best of both worlds for a high energy game
[00:05:49] that is fun for everybody.
[00:05:51] Simply listen to your favorite music,
[00:05:53] match the songs to the title on your music bingo cards
[00:05:57] and win great prizes.
[00:05:59] You can also compete for gift certificates
[00:06:01] as well as nationally sponsored contests
[00:06:03] and jackpots.
[00:06:04] Okay, so how's that?
[00:06:06] That sounds like a lot of fun.
[00:06:08] But the sad thing was,
[00:06:09] this is when I went to look for it
[00:06:10] and I tried to find,
[00:06:11] you know,
[00:06:11] is there some place where I could check this out,
[00:06:13] you know,
[00:06:14] and see about singing along.
[00:06:16] God knows I love to sing too.
[00:06:18] Sadly,
[00:06:18] it doesn't look like there's any location
[00:06:20] that offers this west of Arizona.
[00:06:24] Okay,
[00:06:24] so there are a lot of locations east of Arizona,
[00:06:26] but nothing really west of Arizona.
[00:06:29] So that's kind of sad.
[00:06:30] But again,
[00:06:31] if you happen to be east of Arizona,
[00:06:33] you should absolutely check this out.
[00:06:35] You can go to the website.
[00:06:36] I think it's under Challenge Entertainment
[00:06:37] or just Google
[00:06:38] Singo Music Bingo.
[00:06:40] Again,
[00:06:41] S-I-N-G-O.
[00:06:43] Clearly,
[00:06:44] this singing
[00:06:44] combined with drinking
[00:06:46] and playing bingo
[00:06:48] is something that is really taking a hold
[00:06:50] across this country
[00:06:51] because even though Singo Bingo,
[00:06:53] you know,
[00:06:53] that particular group
[00:06:54] doesn't have locations
[00:06:55] over on the west coast.
[00:06:57] It's,
[00:06:57] you know,
[00:06:58] not stopping from other people
[00:06:59] creating these locations.
[00:07:01] And in particular,
[00:07:02] I noticed that Dave and Busters
[00:07:04] have this,
[00:07:05] all right?
[00:07:05] Over here in California,
[00:07:07] I'm looking particularly
[00:07:07] at Concord, California.
[00:07:09] This is like a regular thing.
[00:07:10] They have this every Thursday night.
[00:07:13] Again,
[00:07:13] this is free
[00:07:14] because I'm sure
[00:07:15] they want to get you in there
[00:07:16] and start drinking and everything,
[00:07:17] but they have it
[00:07:17] every Thursday night
[00:07:18] at eight o'clock.
[00:07:20] Okay,
[00:07:20] so this says
[00:07:21] bingo game night on Thursday,
[00:07:23] 7.30 p.m.
[00:07:25] Join us for great music,
[00:07:26] food,
[00:07:27] and fun
[00:07:27] as well as prizes.
[00:07:29] Music bingo
[00:07:30] is a twist
[00:07:30] on the traditional game
[00:07:31] is bingo.
[00:07:32] So much like we said
[00:07:33] for the other place,
[00:07:34] but the hosts
[00:07:34] will play a variety of songs
[00:07:36] and you'll mark off
[00:07:36] the corresponding squares
[00:07:38] on your bingo card.
[00:07:39] There will be prizes
[00:07:40] for the winners
[00:07:40] and plenty of opportunities
[00:07:42] to sing
[00:07:43] and dance
[00:07:44] along
[00:07:44] to the music.
[00:07:45] Not only is this
[00:07:46] a great place
[00:07:47] to play bingo
[00:07:47] and sing
[00:07:48] and have a good time,
[00:07:49] but I can imagine
[00:07:50] that this is going to be
[00:07:51] a great thing
[00:07:52] for people to do
[00:07:53] like on a date night.
[00:07:54] I don't know if you have
[00:07:55] like one of those
[00:07:55] Topgolf locations
[00:07:56] out there
[00:07:57] wherever you live
[00:07:58] where people go
[00:07:58] and you can also
[00:07:59] eat and drink
[00:08:00] and socialize
[00:08:02] while you're,
[00:08:02] you know,
[00:08:03] hitting balls
[00:08:03] and whatnot,
[00:08:04] but I can see
[00:08:04] where this is going
[00:08:05] to be a new thing,
[00:08:06] particularly because
[00:08:06] unlike Topgolf,
[00:08:08] this is free
[00:08:09] and everything.
[00:08:10] So I could see this,
[00:08:11] you know,
[00:08:12] being even wider
[00:08:13] than obviously
[00:08:14] it already is right now,
[00:08:15] even though I've never
[00:08:16] experienced it,
[00:08:17] but definitely going
[00:08:17] to go out
[00:08:18] and check it out
[00:08:18] because like I said,
[00:08:19] it's free.
[00:08:23] And since I'm not
[00:08:24] winning enough
[00:08:25] at these other
[00:08:25] bingo places
[00:08:26] where I'm spending
[00:08:26] a lot of money,
[00:08:27] this is definitely
[00:08:28] something that I
[00:08:29] will go check out
[00:08:30] because there's
[00:08:30] a Dave and Buster's
[00:08:31] right around the corner
[00:08:33] from where I live.
[00:08:34] So that is number one
[00:08:35] on my to-do list.
[00:08:36] And I had absolutely
[00:08:38] no idea that this
[00:08:38] was such a big thing.
[00:08:39] Again,
[00:08:40] not only in the United States,
[00:08:42] but it's also happening
[00:08:43] in other countries
[00:08:44] as well.
[00:08:45] You know,
[00:08:45] a while ago,
[00:08:46] a friend of mine
[00:08:46] sent me a clip
[00:08:47] of an event
[00:08:48] similar to this type
[00:08:49] of thing,
[00:08:49] like a wild,
[00:08:50] crazy thing
[00:08:50] that's going on
[00:08:51] in the UK.
[00:08:52] And I'm going to
[00:08:52] play you the clip
[00:08:53] so you can listen
[00:08:53] to all the craziness
[00:08:54] that goes on
[00:08:55] in this bingo event
[00:08:56] called Bingo Loco.
[00:09:00] What is Bingo Loco?
[00:09:03] What happens
[00:09:04] in the show?
[00:09:05] When you get your book,
[00:09:06] you get your market,
[00:09:08] you sit down
[00:09:08] with all your friends,
[00:09:09] your loved ones,
[00:09:10] maybe your families.
[00:09:11] There'll be a nice mix playing.
[00:09:13] Nice 90s mix maybe.
[00:09:15] You might get to boogie
[00:09:16] with your friends
[00:09:16] a little bit.
[00:09:17] And then bam,
[00:09:19] confetti,
[00:09:20] tunes,
[00:09:21] dance-offs,
[00:09:22] lip-sync panels,
[00:09:23] dildos on stage,
[00:09:25] cans being drunk.
[00:09:26] And then halfway
[00:09:27] through the show,
[00:09:28] we introduce
[00:09:29] the world famous
[00:09:30] Bingo Loco
[00:09:32] Rave.
[00:09:38] Well,
[00:09:39] probably,
[00:09:40] probably about this long.
[00:09:43] It's a three-hour
[00:09:43] jam-packed
[00:09:44] extravaganza
[00:09:45] with three bingo games
[00:09:47] played.
[00:09:47] We call out the numbers
[00:09:49] on our magical
[00:09:50] Bingo Loco
[00:09:51] machine.
[00:09:52] You cross them all.
[00:09:53] You get one line,
[00:09:54] you get one prize.
[00:09:55] You get two lines,
[00:09:56] you get the second prize,
[00:09:57] you get three lines,
[00:09:57] you get the third prize.
[00:09:59] There are three games in total,
[00:10:01] left to right,
[00:10:01] right to left,
[00:10:02] all horizontal lines.
[00:10:03] And ladies and gentlemen,
[00:10:04] this is
[00:10:05] Bingo
[00:10:06] fucking
[00:10:07] Loco.
[00:10:17] So you get the point.
[00:10:21] Bingo is all over the place
[00:10:23] and it is just absolutely amazing
[00:10:25] how it's branching out
[00:10:26] into just different areas
[00:10:27] where you wouldn't think
[00:10:28] it would be.
[00:10:29] And I have a thought too.
[00:10:30] My thought is this.
[00:10:32] I think the airlines
[00:10:33] should start playing bingo,
[00:10:35] okay?
[00:10:35] I think when you're having
[00:10:36] those one-hour flights,
[00:10:37] when you go into
[00:10:38] L.A. to Vegas
[00:10:39] or just other little
[00:10:40] puddle jumps like that,
[00:10:41] when you're not worrying
[00:10:42] about sleeping
[00:10:43] or catching up on business
[00:10:44] or anything,
[00:10:45] you're just kind of,
[00:10:45] you know,
[00:10:46] going to get on the flight,
[00:10:47] be there for a little while
[00:10:47] and get off.
[00:10:48] They should have bingo games,
[00:10:49] okay?
[00:10:50] Free bingo games
[00:10:51] on these flights
[00:10:52] and you can win
[00:10:53] a bottle of champagne,
[00:10:53] you can win,
[00:10:54] you know,
[00:10:55] free peanuts,
[00:10:56] whatever,
[00:10:56] just something fun
[00:10:57] to make that flight
[00:10:58] more enjoyable
[00:10:58] because it looks like
[00:11:00] bingo is just kind of
[00:11:01] exploding
[00:11:01] in so many unusual locations
[00:11:04] and I personally think
[00:11:05] that that's a fantastic idea
[00:11:06] and a great opportunity
[00:11:07] for somebody
[00:11:08] to make their flights
[00:11:09] more enjoyable.
[00:11:11] Now,
[00:11:12] the next one
[00:11:12] that I want to talk about
[00:11:13] is something that's
[00:11:14] a little bit more traditional
[00:11:15] and I think you have it
[00:11:16] in a lot of places
[00:11:17] and this is
[00:11:18] the drag queen bingo.
[00:11:20] Now,
[00:11:21] here in Los Angeles
[00:11:22] where I live,
[00:11:23] one of the places
[00:11:23] that I'd heard
[00:11:24] the most about
[00:11:25] was a place called
[00:11:26] Hamburger Mary's
[00:11:27] which was located
[00:11:28] in West Hollywood.
[00:11:29] While I've actually
[00:11:30] never been there,
[00:11:31] I am familiar
[00:11:31] with the fact
[00:11:32] that they would go around
[00:11:33] to places
[00:11:33] and they would,
[00:11:34] you know,
[00:11:35] do drag queen bingo
[00:11:36] for like all kinds
[00:11:37] of different events.
[00:11:38] Now,
[00:11:39] one of the places
[00:11:39] where I used to work,
[00:11:40] they actually had that
[00:11:41] and it was pretty cool.
[00:11:42] I don't know
[00:11:42] if they contributed
[00:11:44] the prizes.
[00:11:44] I imagine that the company
[00:11:45] that is sponsoring them
[00:11:47] or whatever
[00:11:47] contributes to the prizes
[00:11:48] but they were giving
[00:11:49] some really good prizes.
[00:11:51] I think the main present,
[00:11:53] the big piece de resistance,
[00:11:55] the big prize
[00:11:56] for the last game
[00:11:56] was a really nice bicycle
[00:11:58] and everything
[00:11:59] so that was pretty cool
[00:11:59] although yes,
[00:12:00] to be honest,
[00:12:01] I'm sure the company
[00:12:02] that hired them
[00:12:03] did that
[00:12:03] but it was a lot of fun
[00:12:04] to have people
[00:12:05] come out there
[00:12:05] and people
[00:12:06] who don't usually
[00:12:07] play bingo
[00:12:08] and bring a lot
[00:12:09] of camaraderie
[00:12:10] out to different locations
[00:12:12] that are not the norm
[00:12:13] so that was a lot of fun
[00:12:14] so that was,
[00:12:14] like I said,
[00:12:15] that was Hamburger Mary's
[00:12:16] and that's the place
[00:12:17] that I was the most familiar with.
[00:12:18] I'd heard about it
[00:12:19] from a lot of people
[00:12:19] but now I've seen
[00:12:20] there's another place
[00:12:21] also called Legendary Bingo
[00:12:23] which is also
[00:12:24] in West Hollywood,
[00:12:26] not that that comes
[00:12:27] as a big surprise
[00:12:28] since it's a drag show
[00:12:29] but they do the same
[00:12:30] kind of thing
[00:12:31] that they have
[00:12:31] all these events
[00:12:32] that are bingo events
[00:12:33] where they go out
[00:12:34] and they help with charities
[00:12:35] to try and help
[00:12:38] get donations
[00:12:38] and build funds
[00:12:39] for these particular
[00:12:41] different organizations.
[00:12:42] So those are great.
[00:12:43] I love those.
[00:12:44] I love Hamburger Mary's
[00:12:45] and I love the fact
[00:12:46] that there's Legendary Bingo
[00:12:47] where they actually
[00:12:48] are doing something
[00:12:49] not only for having fun
[00:12:51] but also going out
[00:12:52] and promoting
[00:12:52] to do good things
[00:12:54] out there
[00:12:54] for either companies
[00:12:55] or for charities
[00:12:56] or whatnot.
[00:12:57] So those are those
[00:12:57] in that category
[00:12:58] and I'm sure those
[00:12:59] are all over the place.
[00:13:00] I haven't checked
[00:13:01] but I guarantee you
[00:13:02] that those
[00:13:03] if you're looking
[00:13:03] for something like that
[00:13:04] shouldn't be too hard
[00:13:05] to find.
[00:13:06] So a good deed
[00:13:08] done by all.
[00:13:09] Now the last one
[00:13:10] I want to talk about
[00:13:11] is one that you might
[00:13:12] be more familiar with
[00:13:13] and that's playing
[00:13:14] bingo on cruise ships.
[00:13:18] Now I know
[00:13:18] I've talked about this before
[00:13:20] where they actually
[00:13:20] have cruises
[00:13:21] that are specifically
[00:13:22] for playing bingo
[00:13:24] on these
[00:13:25] you know
[00:13:25] week-long cruises.
[00:13:26] I think Carnival
[00:13:27] has one
[00:13:27] Royal Caribbean's
[00:13:28] done one
[00:13:30] I think there's
[00:13:31] another company
[00:13:31] I think it's the
[00:13:32] what is it
[00:13:32] MSC
[00:13:33] that does one too
[00:13:34] not sure about that
[00:13:35] but anyway
[00:13:36] that is a specific
[00:13:37] cruise that is designed
[00:13:38] just for bingo
[00:13:40] typically called
[00:13:41] the World Championship
[00:13:42] and they usually
[00:13:43] have that every year
[00:13:45] around October
[00:13:46] November
[00:13:46] but I'm not talking
[00:13:47] about that one
[00:13:48] I'm talking about
[00:13:49] most cruise ships
[00:13:50] to entertain
[00:13:51] their passengers
[00:13:53] will offer
[00:13:54] bingo
[00:13:55] and I think
[00:13:56] that's so funny
[00:13:57] I've played a couple
[00:13:57] of times
[00:13:58] and you don't have
[00:13:58] a lot to do
[00:13:59] sometimes
[00:13:59] when you're on
[00:14:00] a cruise ship
[00:14:01] I mean
[00:14:02] and that sounds funny
[00:14:03] because there really
[00:14:03] is a lot to do
[00:14:04] on a cruise ship
[00:14:05] but sometimes
[00:14:05] you want to do
[00:14:06] something a little
[00:14:06] different
[00:14:06] and I think
[00:14:07] one of the most
[00:14:07] popular things
[00:14:08] that they have
[00:14:09] is people playing
[00:14:10] bingo
[00:14:10] but in all honesty
[00:14:11] it is probably
[00:14:13] one of the
[00:14:14] biggest rip-offs
[00:14:16] on cruise ships
[00:14:17] but you do it anyway
[00:14:18] because I think
[00:14:19] for those of us
[00:14:20] who are regular
[00:14:20] bingo players
[00:14:21] you're like
[00:14:21] are you kidding me
[00:14:22] because you pay
[00:14:22] a lot of money
[00:14:23] and the prizes
[00:14:24] that you get
[00:14:25] are pretty pitiful
[00:14:26] like I said
[00:14:27] you're not getting
[00:14:27] major prizes
[00:14:29] at these little
[00:14:29] drinking events
[00:14:30] or the Dave & Busters
[00:14:32] or the Ikeas
[00:14:33] or the Chick-fil-A's
[00:14:34] you're not getting
[00:14:34] major prizes
[00:14:35] for these things
[00:14:36] but you're also
[00:14:37] not paying anything
[00:14:38] for those prizes
[00:14:39] so that's what
[00:14:40] makes it kind of
[00:14:41] a better deal
[00:14:42] for you
[00:14:42] but anyway
[00:14:43] like I said
[00:14:44] these cruise ships
[00:14:45] all have bingo
[00:14:46] on their cruises
[00:14:48] and they charge
[00:14:49] just an ungodly
[00:14:51] amount of money
[00:14:52] for them
[00:14:52] but that being said
[00:14:54] everybody ends up
[00:14:55] playing bingo
[00:14:56] I've done it
[00:14:57] my sister actually
[00:14:58] won last time
[00:14:58] I think
[00:14:59] the cards that we did
[00:15:00] like the minimum
[00:15:01] buy-in for it
[00:15:02] was like $20
[00:15:02] and I think
[00:15:05] a maximum
[00:15:06] of five games
[00:15:07] that's it
[00:15:08] you're paying
[00:15:08] like $20
[00:15:08] bare minimum
[00:15:09] and you get
[00:15:10] like five games
[00:15:11] and what happens
[00:15:13] is that
[00:15:14] you end up
[00:15:15] buying more stuff
[00:15:15] they're trying
[00:15:16] to sell you
[00:15:16] more and more
[00:15:16] so you increase
[00:15:17] your odds of winning
[00:15:18] just like any bingo
[00:15:19] player
[00:15:19] you know
[00:15:19] you're going
[00:15:20] to try to
[00:15:20] increase your
[00:15:21] odds of playing
[00:15:22] whatever you're doing
[00:15:23] and the prizes
[00:15:24] can get pretty intense
[00:15:26] the prizes
[00:15:26] can get pretty hefty
[00:15:27] I think if you do
[00:15:28] win $100 here
[00:15:30] $300 there
[00:15:31] whatever
[00:15:32] but at the end
[00:15:34] they usually have
[00:15:34] like a jackpot
[00:15:35] that can be
[00:15:36] quite substantial
[00:15:36] I think
[00:15:37] I've seen
[00:15:38] it be like
[00:15:38] $5,000
[00:15:39] and when I'm
[00:15:40] talking about this
[00:15:41] for reference sake
[00:15:42] I have to refer
[00:15:42] to princess cruises
[00:15:43] because that's
[00:15:44] the only cruise line
[00:15:45] that I've ever
[00:15:45] cruised on
[00:15:46] but I do know
[00:15:47] that these games
[00:15:48] are also on all
[00:15:48] these other
[00:15:49] cruise lines too
[00:15:49] but anyway
[00:15:50] it's a lot of fun
[00:15:51] you have a good time
[00:15:52] people are sitting
[00:15:53] there
[00:15:53] you get to know
[00:15:54] other people
[00:15:54] and chat
[00:15:55] you know
[00:15:55] drinks are usually
[00:15:56] free
[00:15:56] so you're
[00:15:57] having that
[00:15:58] opportunity
[00:15:59] to just imbibe
[00:16:00] and enjoy
[00:16:01] yourself
[00:16:01] but again
[00:16:03] I do get tickled
[00:16:05] I do laugh
[00:16:06] when I sit there
[00:16:06] and I see the amount
[00:16:07] of money
[00:16:07] that they charge
[00:16:08] people for
[00:16:09] five freaking
[00:16:10] games of bingo
[00:16:12] and yeah
[00:16:14] the cruise lines
[00:16:16] are making an
[00:16:16] absolute killing
[00:16:17] off of that
[00:16:18] because the rooms
[00:16:18] are always
[00:16:19] absolutely packed
[00:16:20] the line out
[00:16:21] the door
[00:16:21] for people
[00:16:22] trying to get in
[00:16:22] and do that
[00:16:23] but that's
[00:16:24] the other place
[00:16:24] that I want
[00:16:25] to throw out
[00:16:25] there
[00:16:25] is an interesting
[00:16:26] location
[00:16:27] to play bingo
[00:16:28] in an unusual
[00:16:29] way
[00:16:30] so anyway
[00:16:31] that wraps up
[00:16:32] the bingo
[00:16:33] oddities
[00:16:34] that I wanted
[00:16:35] to point out
[00:16:35] to you
[00:16:35] I hope
[00:16:36] I gave you
[00:16:37] some information
[00:16:37] that you weren't
[00:16:38] aware of
[00:16:38] I hope
[00:16:39] that you can
[00:16:39] go and check
[00:16:40] out some
[00:16:40] of these
[00:16:40] places
[00:16:41] primarily
[00:16:41] the ones
[00:16:42] that are
[00:16:42] free
[00:16:43] and have
[00:16:44] a good
[00:16:44] time
[00:16:44] enjoying
[00:16:44] yourself
[00:16:45] eating
[00:16:45] drinking
[00:16:46] singing
[00:16:47] and shopping
[00:16:48] if you're
[00:16:49] at Ikea
[00:16:49] or whatever
[00:16:50] and just
[00:16:51] in general
[00:16:51] having a good
[00:16:52] time
[00:16:53] well
[00:16:53] that's
[00:16:54] it
[00:16:54] for this
[00:16:55] week's
[00:16:55] episode
[00:16:55] of the
[00:16:56] broke
[00:16:56] bingo
[00:16:56] attic
[00:16:57] also
[00:16:57] known
[00:16:57] as
[00:16:58] the
[00:16:58] last
[00:16:58] episode
[00:16:59] of
[00:16:59] the
[00:16:59] 2024
[00:17:00] year
[00:17:01] we're
[00:17:02] going
[00:17:02] to
[00:17:02] take
[00:17:02] a
[00:17:02] break
[00:17:02] for
[00:17:03] the
