As has been mentioned before, today's bingo is not your grandmother's bingo. It's more than just a bunch of little old ladies in the church recreation room. It's made up of all kinds of people, including men, women and children. One of my favorites is Don, who goes by @datdammdaddiii on TikTok. He has such a fun, joyful personality and it's great to learn more about him.
[00:00:04] Hello and welcome to The Broke Bingo Addict.
[00:00:12] This is a podcast that ventures through the wild and crazy world of bingo.
[00:00:17] This is much more than your grandmother's bingo.
[00:00:20] My name is Shari and welcome to this week's episode, which as always is for entertainment
[00:00:26] purposes only.
[00:00:27] Hi everybody and welcome to this week's episode of The Broke Bingo Addict.
[00:00:31] I am so excited because for my guest this week, I've got Don, otherwise known as that
[00:00:37] damn daddy.
[00:00:38] Again, I hope I'm saying that right.
[00:00:40] That's it.
[00:00:41] That's what I'm saying.
[00:00:42] Hi Don, how are you doing?
[00:00:46] I'm great.
[00:00:47] How have you been?
[00:00:48] I'm doing good.
[00:00:49] You know, I sat there and played a little bingo last night and had a good time but
[00:00:53] didn't win anything.
[00:00:54] I see you broke your spell.
[00:00:55] I broke my spell.
[00:00:57] So yeah, I mean I'm going to ask two questions.
[00:01:00] First question I want to ask was how did you get started playing bingo?
[00:01:03] But before, I'm going to go back to that.
[00:01:04] It's like, yeah, I broke my spell.
[00:01:06] What do you do when you get into a spell like that where you're just not winning
[00:01:09] anything like substantial or it's taking you months to get anything?
[00:01:14] So I usually try to switch it up and go to either another hall or either I may take
[00:01:19] a few days off or stop going for like a week.
[00:01:22] If it's real bad, I'll stop for like a week and then pick back up if the losing
[00:01:28] shake is too bad.
[00:01:29] Sometimes you switch in halls for a little bit helps.
[00:01:32] Like when at the other hall, then I'll go back to my original hall but if it's too
[00:01:38] bad, I'll stop for like a week.
[00:01:40] Well, see, I'm wondering about that.
[00:01:41] But a week is a lot for me and I sit there and say that.
[00:01:44] I say that I'm going to stop and not.
[00:01:46] And then I do it sometimes during this little spirit.
[00:01:49] I went like three or four times and we got not only didn't stop, I doubled
[00:01:52] up or doubled down on it.
[00:01:54] But anyway, so that now do you use sprays or anything?
[00:01:57] Because that's the next thing I was getting ready to try was going to order
[00:01:59] to a spray from a Confessions of a bingo adding.
[00:02:03] So I don't per se.
[00:02:05] I haven't passed a couple times.
[00:02:07] I prefer not to.
[00:02:08] But I mean, I have tried them before.
[00:02:13] I'm not opposed to them.
[00:02:14] I just prefer not to.
[00:02:16] Okay.
[00:02:17] So it's like you have to do what you have to do.
[00:02:18] So that said, now I was going to ask, like I said, how did you get started
[00:02:22] playing bingo?
[00:02:24] So I started my uncle David actually.
[00:02:27] He comes to bingo with me sometimes.
[00:02:29] My family used to go to bingo when I was younger.
[00:02:31] I was the oldest of five kids.
[00:02:34] So when they would leave, of course, I had to stay home and take care of
[00:02:37] them until they got home.
[00:02:39] And it seemed like it took forever for my mom to get home.
[00:02:42] So I didn't like bingo in the beginning.
[00:02:44] I'm just like, I don't know what this bingo thing is, but I never
[00:02:47] wanted any parts of it.
[00:02:49] And so my uncle, I would go with family members every
[00:02:53] like for birthdays or once I turned 18, I would go here and there with him.
[00:02:58] Wasn't too far of it.
[00:03:00] But when I moved to Sacramento, I had a friend that had me go to the bingo
[00:03:04] house and let's go to the bingo.
[00:03:06] I didn't want to go to the bar afterwards to have drinks.
[00:03:08] I'm like bingo all week at the time.
[00:03:11] I was only like maybe 25.
[00:03:15] I'm like a bingo.
[00:03:16] So I ended up going to the bingo hall with him one three times that day.
[00:03:21] First time going one, three times.
[00:03:23] We went out for drinks the next day.
[00:03:25] We were back at the bingo hall for the morning session.
[00:03:30] And I remember myself looking at people and said, I'll never be that
[00:03:33] intuitive to where I have a bingo bag and all this other stuff.
[00:03:37] And people come in with luggage and I know live probably about two weeks later.
[00:03:41] I had a bingo bag, a matching bingo bag, a matching purse.
[00:03:45] Yeah.
[00:03:46] Every since it's been history.
[00:03:48] I mean, sometimes three, four sessions or three sessions a day.
[00:03:52] Sometimes in Sacramento, I was born about three times a day.
[00:03:55] It's so addicting and it's so funny.
[00:03:57] Yeah, everybody goes that first time and they all went, you know,
[00:03:59] that beginner's luck and then you just sucked right in.
[00:04:02] Right.
[00:04:03] It's no turning back.
[00:04:04] Yeah.
[00:04:04] Do you have a favorite place to play?
[00:04:07] My favorite place to play would be Arquemades bingo hall in Santa Clara.
[00:04:13] Oh, I've never been there.
[00:04:14] That doesn't seem like that's that far from me.
[00:04:17] Next time you come down, I was going to tell you about that.
[00:04:19] Next time you come down, you should try it.
[00:04:21] Now what is in particular you like about that particular place?
[00:04:25] I love the atmosphere.
[00:04:27] The wings are pretty good.
[00:04:28] So their games have 1500 first chance, 500 second chance.
[00:04:35] And then they play three five thousands must go each night.
[00:04:39] Get out.
[00:04:39] What's the buy in?
[00:04:41] Buy in ranges from 50 and we're from 50 to $100.
[00:04:46] And how many games do they play?
[00:04:49] They play eight strip games.
[00:04:50] It used to be TN, everybody's come back, but they play eight strip games
[00:04:55] for double actions and then the three five thousand premium strips
[00:05:01] on Tuesdays and Friday, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
[00:05:03] They only play one of those, but that's including in your buying
[00:05:06] you get one of each premium strip.
[00:05:08] And then, of course, they play a ten load of flash.
[00:05:11] They play a lot of flash.
[00:05:13] Everybody does.
[00:05:14] A lot of flash that I have noticed that a lot of bingo
[00:05:17] halls have started to play a lot of flash before you go to get
[00:05:22] three, four, five, maybe six a session now.
[00:05:25] Yeah, it's out of control, out of control.
[00:05:28] That's why I like cry help out in the valley
[00:05:29] because he just does a certain amount and that's it.
[00:05:32] You know, by the time the bingo game starts,
[00:05:34] you spend as much as you're going to spend on pool tabs
[00:05:36] because they've usually sold out and then they don't do anymore.
[00:05:39] But yeah, some places they're going to get you just before the door closes.
[00:05:42] They're going to sell another pool tab.
[00:05:44] Right.
[00:05:45] So now I've seen you at the South Point extravaganza
[00:05:49] and I think I saw you up at Winner's.
[00:05:51] So yeah, we saw you at Winner's.
[00:05:52] But are there other like bingo events that you like to attend?
[00:05:55] Like maybe out of state or anything like that or coming down south?
[00:06:00] Vegas for sure.
[00:06:01] Vegas the time I've seen you was my first time there.
[00:06:03] So I'm planning to go in July, hopefully all four days.
[00:06:08] Cool.
[00:06:09] I haven't been to LA yet, but I plan on being there soon,
[00:06:13] possibly in June or July.
[00:06:15] Yeah, you got to do basketball tech.
[00:06:17] Right. I got to get up there.
[00:06:20] I'm not able to travel.
[00:06:21] I cannot stand to be in the car more than two hours.
[00:06:25] Yeah.
[00:06:26] And then I don't mind flying sometimes,
[00:06:28] but I get nervous about flying.
[00:06:30] So traveling is rough for me,
[00:06:33] but Vegas, yes,
[00:06:36] I've stuck in absolutely.
[00:06:38] I love stuck in any time when I can make my way out here.
[00:06:40] Yeah.
[00:06:42] But other than that, I haven't went like out of state or anything yet
[00:06:46] to play bingo.
[00:06:46] I played on like cruise cruise ships and stuff like that.
[00:06:49] Just small bingo sessions.
[00:06:51] But I have yet to actually travel
[00:06:57] across the state or anything for bingo yet.
[00:06:59] Well, I'll have to back it.
[00:07:00] So what cruise ships did you play on?
[00:07:01] Because I love Princess.
[00:07:04] So I've only played on Carnival.
[00:07:06] I've only been on Carnival cruises.
[00:07:07] So how's their bingo go?
[00:07:10] It's not they it's like you get like five paper games
[00:07:14] and then they have like a it's like a strip
[00:07:17] where kind of like a long pool of tabs
[00:07:19] and even the strip is like, you know,
[00:07:21] the instant pool of tabs where you instantly win money.
[00:07:24] Right.
[00:07:25] It's kind of one of those.
[00:07:26] But it's a carnival logo on it and it's long.
[00:07:29] And it's I guess it's only one, two or three winners
[00:07:32] out of the whole thing is just the instant winner.
[00:07:34] I don't know.
[00:07:35] I think you win like not nothing major,
[00:07:37] probably some carnival merchandise or something like that.
[00:07:40] But the games weren't paying out much at all.
[00:07:43] Probably $50.
[00:07:44] I was just something to do.
[00:07:46] Did you ever win?
[00:07:47] I haven't.
[00:07:48] Yes.
[00:07:49] I fear surprisingly.
[00:07:51] I fear as many times as I have played, I have not.
[00:07:54] Yeah, we've we've fun.
[00:07:54] I want a couple of times and just I had a cruise.
[00:07:56] I think it was last summer.
[00:07:57] Yeah, it was last summer.
[00:07:58] My sister won.
[00:07:59] She was so shocked.
[00:08:00] She won like $300.
[00:08:01] She was shocked that she could be.
[00:08:03] I haven't think it's on one of my videos.
[00:08:05] I wanted my TikTok videos.
[00:08:06] My sister just being totally freaked out by the fact
[00:08:08] that she won bingo on a cruise ship.
[00:08:10] Yeah, it was it was pretty exciting.
[00:08:12] It was a lot of fun.
[00:08:12] But another thing I was going to say,
[00:08:14] you make a lot of TikTok videos that look like
[00:08:16] they're a lot of fun.
[00:08:18] OK, is there any one of your TikTok videos
[00:08:21] that you think is your favorite?
[00:08:24] Not necessarily the one that was the most watched,
[00:08:26] but one that is your personal favorite?
[00:08:28] Personal favorite is probably with my children.
[00:08:32] I could silly with them.
[00:08:34] It was one I did, which actually is how I got into TikTok.
[00:08:38] About 16 year old, she talked me into doing a TikTok
[00:08:42] with the light switch where we switch clothes like the light.
[00:08:45] We dance in front of the camera.
[00:08:47] They're like the light switching when it comes back on.
[00:08:49] She's in my clothes and I'm in her clothes.
[00:08:53] I think I saw that.
[00:08:54] Yeah, that's one of my favorite.
[00:08:55] And then I have one with my nine year old
[00:08:58] where we did the rush hour, pushed the button scene.
[00:09:01] I just reposted that actually.
[00:09:03] So that's one of my favorites.
[00:09:05] Engaging with my children on TikTok
[00:09:07] is a lot of much of my favorite.
[00:09:10] Now I was going to say that too.
[00:09:11] I was just watching the Chamoyah pickle thing
[00:09:15] because I have one.
[00:09:15] I have one of those kits and I was watching you
[00:09:17] with your daughters and that was adorable.
[00:09:20] Yeah.
[00:09:21] It's crazy because in the past
[00:09:23] when I first started doing TikToks,
[00:09:25] they were always, you know,
[00:09:26] they always wanted to do it
[00:09:28] and wanted to be a part of it.
[00:09:29] Now they act like they saw him there.
[00:09:31] So I'm like, oh, y'all are starting.
[00:09:33] Y'all did this to me.
[00:09:35] Now y'all are there?
[00:09:37] That ship is sailed.
[00:09:39] Right.
[00:09:39] They said, you take it too far.
[00:09:40] I said, hey, sometimes you just gotta give it your all.
[00:09:44] No, I really like it
[00:09:45] because it looks like you're having a really good time.
[00:09:47] I'm not very adept at editing them.
[00:09:49] So I'm not very adventurous,
[00:09:52] but you do a good job
[00:09:53] and do some really funny things.
[00:09:54] So did you kind of self-teach yourself
[00:09:56] or did you kind of take some kind of course
[00:09:58] or how did you get so good at your editing?
[00:10:01] So the editing more so my children kind of taught me.
[00:10:05] My 17, my 19 year old, Lord.
[00:10:09] My 19 year old, he's pretty good with the computers
[00:10:13] and editing graphics.
[00:10:14] So is my 16 year old.
[00:10:15] So they showed me, they have showed me quite a bit.
[00:10:19] Things I didn't know about TikTok,
[00:10:21] I've learned from them.
[00:10:23] And then they tell me like,
[00:10:24] if you don't understand, go to Google or YouTube
[00:10:27] and type it in and they'll show you
[00:10:30] how to do these different edits.
[00:10:32] Because before I would just push play
[00:10:33] and start my thing
[00:10:34] and then show me how you set a timer
[00:10:36] that way you don't have to be
[00:10:37] right in front of the camera.
[00:10:40] And so my children played a lot of big major role
[00:10:43] with me starting TikTok
[00:10:45] and learning how to do edits and all that other stuff.
[00:10:47] So they're coming in very handy is what you're saying?
[00:10:50] Absolutely.
[00:10:52] Absolutely.
[00:10:53] Now another thing I've noticed
[00:10:54] is that you are a Tigger fan.
[00:10:57] Yes, I am.
[00:10:58] So I have to say, all my friends know
[00:11:01] as I look at my posters around my room
[00:11:02] and my stuff, I'm a Poo fan.
[00:11:05] So...
[00:11:07] I'm a big Poo fan.
[00:11:08] Got infected one of my office,
[00:11:09] I used to work at Fox
[00:11:10] and in my office at some event that we had
[00:11:13] like a carnival, I won like this ginormous
[00:11:16] and I mean ginormous Poo
[00:11:19] that used to sit in my office
[00:11:20] and people used to come to see my Poo all the time
[00:11:23] but I absolutely love it.
[00:11:24] So yeah, so what's up with Tigger?
[00:11:26] How did you get into Tigger?
[00:11:28] So since I was young, I don't know why
[00:11:30] for some reason I feel like
[00:11:32] and I mean I was a baby so I don't know.
[00:11:34] I feel like I was in a nursing room
[00:11:37] when I was born
[00:11:38] or first doctor's appointment or something
[00:11:41] and an orange room with Tigger on the wall
[00:11:43] and that memory sticks so vivid in my mind all the time.
[00:11:48] My mom says no, she don't know what I'm talking about.
[00:11:51] I remember being in a room,
[00:11:53] the walls were orange and I seen Tigger's.
[00:11:57] But it can be part of my imagination
[00:11:58] probably just something I dreamed about or something
[00:12:00] but once you've been my guy ever since,
[00:12:05] I've always loved Tigers
[00:12:07] Tigger has always his personality kind of fits me.
[00:12:11] They say you got ADHD, I feel like along those lines
[00:12:14] I can't stay still, not physically but just me
[00:12:18] I like to hide from bingo hall to bingo hall,
[00:12:20] job to job sometimes, place to place
[00:12:24] like I cannot stay still for too long in one place.
[00:12:27] Now I can see the connection.
[00:12:30] How do you see being Tigger?
[00:12:32] Yeah I can't stay, I can't stay still,
[00:12:33] I don't know what it is.
[00:12:35] So as I was younger growing up, I just always loved them.
[00:12:40] Some of my friends and family called me Tigger.
[00:12:44] That was actually my first tattoo at 18 years old.
[00:12:47] I went and got a Tigger on my right arm through school,
[00:12:51] print a lot of friends with bringing pictures
[00:12:53] and teddy bears anything Tigger related
[00:12:56] bring I would go home with a collection
[00:12:58] of stuff throughout the week.
[00:13:00] My whole room was just about filled with Tigger
[00:13:03] when I was even in high school up to high school.
[00:13:06] And so once I moved out on my own,
[00:13:08] I moved out of 17, once I moved on my own
[00:13:10] I tried to steer away from Tigger
[00:13:12] and use more so like Tiger prints and stuff like that
[00:13:15] but eventually he came back in my life,
[00:13:18] he snuck up on me.
[00:13:20] Yeah what's not to love about Tigger
[00:13:21] but we'll have to compare our collection sometime
[00:13:23] between all your Tigger stuff and all my poo stuff.
[00:13:26] Absolutely.
[00:13:27] That's funny.
[00:13:28] So now I was gonna ask you another question
[00:13:30] that I always think about when I'm talking
[00:13:32] about the bingo players
[00:13:33] because I know this is a definite thing for me.
[00:13:35] Are you a computer person or are you a paper person?
[00:13:40] I am die hard paper.
[00:13:42] I love you!
[00:13:43] I'm die hard paper,
[00:13:45] you get the way the computers, the strips
[00:13:47] I don't even necessarily have to have pull tabs,
[00:13:50] I love them, don't get me wrong.
[00:13:51] But if I can sit in a session
[00:13:54] and play everybody just play paper for hours
[00:13:57] I can sit there all day long.
[00:13:58] I'm a paper person, die hard.
[00:14:00] 100% I'm telling you that's why I like,
[00:14:03] back in Vegas it's so funny.
[00:14:04] I think during the pandemic
[00:14:06] everybody had gone to paper if they were doing it
[00:14:08] and then when they came back a lot of the hotels
[00:14:10] and stuff went back to having the computers too
[00:14:13] because they used to all be primarily computer
[00:14:15] but Sunset Station which is where I like to play it
[00:14:17] they have stayed paper
[00:14:19] and it's really interesting to me
[00:14:20] that they draw a pretty good crowd
[00:14:22] for just being paper and everything
[00:14:24] but I love going there,
[00:14:25] I like it, I feel like it's a nice even playing field.
[00:14:28] Right, so it's no computers at all.
[00:14:31] Not at Sunset Station, no, not for their bingo.
[00:14:34] It's just paper.
[00:14:35] I'm not gonna look at it.
[00:14:36] I love that they're not going to play just paper.
[00:14:39] Yeah, I can't think anybody in Vegas.
[00:14:40] Well you know what that's in Vegas
[00:14:42] it's Sunset Station is the only hotel
[00:14:44] that I know of that just does paper
[00:14:45] but the Samoan bingo, Atane 4
[00:14:49] I don't know if I ever said there
[00:14:50] or ETE in a FOU out on Decatur.
[00:14:55] They play paper, that's a fun place to go to
[00:14:57] if you make it to Vegas,
[00:14:58] well you're gonna make it to Vegas in July
[00:15:00] but if you get a chance
[00:15:00] I think we did that last time
[00:15:01] we all drove out on Thursday and played out there
[00:15:04] and they now have a game on Monday and stuff
[00:15:07] but they're paper, they're all paper too so yeah.
[00:15:10] Okay, yeah I love paper.
[00:15:13] Yeah I just, I think it's just,
[00:15:15] I could sit there like you're saying all day
[00:15:17] and just play and play and play and play.
[00:15:20] I always say the paper separates
[00:15:22] the real bingo players from the fake
[00:15:24] because if you can sit, if you can keep up with the paper
[00:15:29] with no problems that's my go to the paper.
[00:15:32] I like all the patterns.
[00:15:34] Right and the journal and rush again
[00:15:36] if you play paper you know with certain patterns
[00:15:40] you don't have to use certain numbers
[00:15:42] you know I love it's a completely different field then.
[00:15:46] Yeah and I think it's the purist in me.
[00:15:51] Right and I think with the paper if you can keep up
[00:15:55] you down the ground as opposed to a computer
[00:15:58] if you miss a number that's on you.
[00:16:00] Now if you got computers and they're going to pour you
[00:16:02] that's different, I like the fact that you solely
[00:16:06] it's relied on you.
[00:16:07] You gotta keep up with your own numbers
[00:16:09] you gotta know the pattern
[00:16:10] and call it a bingo before they call that next number.
[00:16:13] Absolutely, absolutely I do love it.
[00:16:15] I do think it's great that you have to sit there
[00:16:18] and know the pattern and I'm pretty good at that.
[00:16:20] I know it's hard for some people
[00:16:22] so I hear that that some people get confused
[00:16:25] when it's like a crazy kite or if it's something
[00:16:31] and stuff but personally that's the part
[00:16:32] that I like about it.
[00:16:33] I like having to like you're saying have to keep up
[00:16:36] with what the pattern is and knowing what's going on.
[00:16:38] Not gonna say I haven't slept a bingo before
[00:16:41] but I mean that's the only part that sucks.
[00:16:45] Right, I'm sure we all have.
[00:16:48] Isn't that the worst?
[00:16:49] That's the worst.
[00:16:52] And if the damage is filling like it seems
[00:16:54] like you can't shake it after that.
[00:16:56] Isn't it you just and you have to
[00:16:57] and you say we've all done it
[00:16:58] and everybody around is like shake it off.
[00:17:00] No, it's like just throw money away.
[00:17:03] Like oh my gosh that is absolutely the worst.
[00:17:06] Now you were saying sometimes you play
[00:17:08] like two or three times a day
[00:17:09] but generally during the weekend
[00:17:10] do you have like a certain amount of days
[00:17:12] that you like to play?
[00:17:14] Now that I'm back working full time
[00:17:17] I really can only play just depending.
[00:17:21] Sometimes last week I picked up a seven
[00:17:23] to three 30 p.m. shift and so I was able
[00:17:26] to make it to bingo at the end of work each day.
[00:17:30] My regular shift is 3 p.m. to 11 30 p.m.
[00:17:33] So I miss a lot of bingo now.
[00:17:35] But if I had it my way I would be at bingo
[00:17:39] for sure Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Fridays for sure.
[00:17:47] Oh I would love it, I would love it.
[00:17:49] And when I'm doing good it's great
[00:17:50] but like I said when you're having that little losing
[00:17:52] streak you have to like pare that down a bit.
[00:17:54] So if you don't mind my asking
[00:17:57] what's the most you've won in a single day
[00:18:01] either by one particular win or by multiple wins?
[00:18:05] The most in one day I would have to say
[00:18:09] close to about $9,000.
[00:18:13] Dang!
[00:18:14] Yeah close to about I won a 2398,
[00:18:18] I split a 2398 this particular session.
[00:18:22] I won a 1199, I won a Strip.
[00:18:25] It was close to about it may have been like maybe 8,600
[00:18:30] but close to about $9,000.
[00:18:33] And you don't understand the feeling
[00:18:35] that you feel walking out of that bingo hall
[00:18:39] with wilds and lynxing, I'm sticking at you.
[00:18:41] I mean, everything on your wallet.
[00:18:44] Yeah.
[00:18:45] I wanna tell you in small bills so you'd be shorter too.
[00:18:50] I'm like bring me hundreds so I won't spend this back.
[00:18:53] Oh isn't that something?
[00:18:54] But yeah could you believe
[00:18:56] that you just kept winning like that?
[00:18:59] No not at all.
[00:19:00] Like it was shocking because that day
[00:19:02] I started off pretty dry like I was here.
[00:19:05] I think I pulled a couple of instincts
[00:19:07] which I've noticed that if I win instance too early
[00:19:11] the rest of my day usually don't pretty much go too good.
[00:19:13] It's like here you are, we give you this
[00:19:17] and you better take that.
[00:19:18] In particular day I pulled a couple of instincts
[00:19:21] and then probably close to the end
[00:19:24] after the intermission I won like 1199.
[00:19:29] I split a 2398, the very last 2398
[00:19:33] that they played at the night
[00:19:34] they called my numbers out back to back.
[00:19:36] Wow.
[00:19:38] You know I acted a plumb no fool
[00:19:40] I acted so crazy.
[00:19:40] That's crazy.
[00:19:44] I don't blame you I would have acted crazy too.
[00:19:46] That was awesome and stuff.
[00:19:48] That's really cool so thank you for sharing.
[00:19:51] But yeah well you know what sad to say
[00:19:54] we're almost at the end of this
[00:19:56] but before I let you go I do wanna ask
[00:19:58] my typical question which is
[00:20:01] is there anything before we go
[00:20:03] that you wanna tell people?
[00:20:05] About bingo.
[00:20:06] Either about bingo or about yourself or?
[00:20:11] Absolutely.
[00:20:13] One two people that watch me on TikTok
[00:20:15] are I've been going to various bingo halls lately
[00:20:19] and then people messaged me once I leave
[00:20:21] and said I'll sing you and I wanted to speak to you.
[00:20:24] Please understand that I am done before anything else.
[00:20:28] I love people, I love the hug people, I love
[00:20:30] I don't believe in the bad karma where you hug me
[00:20:33] and this and that I love people
[00:20:34] so always engage me.
[00:20:36] If I recognize your face I'm speaking
[00:20:38] even if a couple of times I don't walk in
[00:20:40] but hug people thinking they somebody else
[00:20:41] have to be all but I love people
[00:20:44] so never ever be I'm not me.
[00:20:47] You know I'm just seeing the play bingo
[00:20:50] and go live on TikTok but never feel threatened
[00:20:55] or ashamed or whatever it comes to me.
[00:20:57] I'm not like that at all.
[00:20:59] You can hug me, we can laugh, have a good time
[00:21:01] and as far as bingo wise try it to those
[00:21:04] that it's a lot of people that send a live
[00:21:06] or comment and say oh I wanted to play
[00:21:09] but I'm scared and it's an act give it a shot
[00:21:12] or I'll try it.
[00:21:14] I will say it can be very, very addictive.
[00:21:18] So addictive.
[00:21:19] I can tell you it is addictive.
[00:21:21] Right, caution, it's very addictive.
[00:21:25] But you have to be wise with it.
[00:21:27] You have to, you learn as you start playing
[00:21:30] you'll learn when and how much not to spend
[00:21:33] and not to, sometimes you have to,
[00:21:36] you feel like you feel lucky that day
[00:21:38] and you may play a little bit more
[00:21:39] but you know just be wise with your plan.
[00:21:42] But have a great time.
[00:21:43] I always tell people a lot of people
[00:21:46] are tense that bingo it's not that serious
[00:21:48] you gonna win, you gonna win.
[00:21:50] And I mean it's based off the numbers
[00:21:53] there's no strategy, there's no cheat codes,
[00:21:55] there's no, I mean of course you have more chances
[00:21:58] the more cards or the more tabs you have
[00:22:01] you have more chances but hey it only takes one.
[00:22:05] It only takes one.
[00:22:05] Your numbers get right.
[00:22:07] Your numbers can come out back to back on one tab
[00:22:11] as opposed to somebody else having 12.
[00:22:13] So just always have fun staying positive.
[00:22:16] I love to be around positive energy at bingo.
[00:22:19] If it's negative I'm getting away from you
[00:22:21] because I like to have a good time at bingo.
[00:22:23] It's therapeutic to me.
[00:22:26] It's really fun for me.
[00:22:27] So enjoy yourself, have a good time
[00:22:30] and don't be so tense about it.
[00:22:33] Yeah, that's a great answer.
[00:22:35] So thank you, I really appreciate it
[00:22:36] and I really appreciate you coming on
[00:22:38] and doing my show for me.
[00:22:39] I was kind of afraid to ask you
[00:22:40] but you just were so kind and generous.
[00:22:42] I can't thank you enough.
[00:22:44] So again, I hope you have a great day.
[00:22:49] Well that's it for this week's episode
[00:22:51] of the Bingo Attic and I wanna thank Don again
[00:22:53] for coming and chatting with me.
[00:22:55] He is such an absolute sweetheart
[00:22:57] and I also wanna thank you for listening
[00:22:59] and I hope you'll come back and listen again.
[00:23:01] Thanks so much, bye.
[00:23:02] Just not again, it's a ridgid.
